How to Create a Detailed Yearly Budget

So you can achieve the goals and have the fun you want | taught by Dana LaRieal Morales

Course description

This course teaches you to develop a budgeting worksheet that can be used the entire year. It is important that you know what is coming in and going out of your bank accounts from the biggest items to the smallest. It helps you plan on how you will get out of debt, save and plan for those fun things in your life. By the end of this course you will be able to create your own budget worksheet (or use the template provided) to budget for 12+ months...and know the anticipated time that you can achieve the goals you have set for your life.

There are a few pre-requisite items I would encourage you to gather for this course:

  • A copy of your bank statement (details) or your bills - this will give you the due dates or the dates you usually pay them;
  • A list of your debts and remaining balances - credit card statements, creditor letters or other information you need to get the balance, due dates and minimum payments; and
  • Identify/Gather any item that is an auto-draft or batch pay item.
